KI Klaksvik 0-5 Lech Poznan
Europa League
Lech Poznań made an emphatic statement in the Europa League on Friday, dismantling KI Klaksvík 5-0 away from home. Lech Poznań will carry considerable confidence into their next Europa League outing — a five-goal haul away from home is the kind of performance that sends a message to other teams in the draw. Whether they can sustain that level of output against stronger opposition remains to be seen, but on the basis of this result, they look like a side with real intent in the competition.
