Serie A
Juventus have been the most active club in this summer's window by some distance, conducting business on both ends in a manner that suggests a significant squad overhaul is underway. The headline arrival is Randal Kolo Muani, who has completed a permanent transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to Turin — a move that represents a genuine statement of intent from the Bianconeri.
Alongside Kolo Muani, Juventus have brought in Kerim-Sam Alajbegović on a permanent basis from Bayer Leverkusen, adding another young attacking option to their ranks. They also recruited Zeki Çelik on a free transfer following his departure from AS Roma.
The outgoings from Turin are equally telling. Openda has departed on loan to Lyon from Juventus. João Mário has gone out on loan to Fiorentina, while Vasilije Adžić heads to Sassuolo on a temporary basis. Permanently, Lorenzo Villa has joined Swiss side FC Sion, Di Biase has moved to English fourth-tier club Crawley Town, and Leonardo Cerri has transferred to French side Grenoble. Goalkeeper prospect Diego Pugno, meanwhile, has gone out on loan to Jong Ajax in the Netherlands for regular minutes. The sheer volume of exits points to a deliberate slimming-down of a bloated roster.
Roma have completed at least two confirmed transfers this window, with Nahuel Molina arriving from Atlético Madrid and Çelik departing on a free.
Ligue 1
Paris Saint-Germain have finalised the permanent sale of Kolo Muani to Juventus, continuing the club’s trend of moving on players who fell outside their core plans. Meanwhile, Lyon are the beneficiaries of Openda’s loan from Turin — a significant short-term acquisition that gives Lyon’s side a proven goalscorer, and one that carries no permanent financial commitment.
Bundesliga
Bayer Leverkusen have permanently sold Kerim-Sam Alajbegović to Juventus. For Leverkusen, it represents a departure of a young talent from their setup.
Eredivisie
Jong Ajax have taken Diego Pugno on loan from Juventus, adding to their development pool — a sensible move for a goalkeeper seeking competitive game time at a respected football environment.
EFL (English Football League)
Crawley Town have completed the signing of Di Biase from Juventus on a permanent transfer.
