Whether they can translate that potential into consistent Bundesliga performances remains to be seen.

Monaco have taken M. Detourbet on loan from Manchester City. The France-based connection — Detourbet arrived at City from Estac Troyes — suggests the player may benefit from staying closer to home while developing under City’s ownership network umbrella.

GO Ahead Eagles confirmed the signing of Tomas Galvez from Manchester City on a permanent basis, continuing the Dutch club’s habit of sourcing talent from Premier League academies and fringe squads.
